The RCL looks at the message of Jesus and the calling of the first disciples in Mark 1. The NL continues the journey through Mark with the healing of the demon possessed man in the Gadarenes.
In all of the readings there seems to be a sense of urgency. Life is short and fleeting. Don’t be distracted by things that don’t last. Repent, Believe, and let the Good News set you free.
