The Revised Common Lectionary launches a two-month series on the letter to the Ephesians this Sunday. I took this opportunity to pull my illustration of Ephesians out of moth balls and give it a little update and make an introduction video. Enjoy!

The letter to the Ephesians paints a beautiful portrait of what the church could look like if it is built on the foundation of a plurality of leadership that is committed to equipping its members for the work of the ministry, so that, as the body of Christ, we might all grow in unity and maturity, learning to speak the truth in love. In this video I offer you two things. First, we’ll put the letter to the Ephesians in context, discussing who wrote it and where the Ephesians were located. Second, I will walk through a visual outline of the letter using an image pack that you can download and use for your own preaching and teaching.
