For those Preaching Ephesians

This is week 2 of the Ephesians mini-series. The text is Ephesians 2:11-22. The author declares,

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both groups into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us.” (Ephesians 2:13-14 NRSV)

Oh, that this were true in our world today. Let us proclaim the Gospel of Peace.

Jesus Feeds and Heals the Crowds

The Gospel story drives home the point that Jesus cares about all the people–the hungry, the sick, the possessed–and restores them. This is part of his mission, and ours.
