The RCL takes us to the story where Jesus frees a man from a demon in the Synagogue in Mark 1. The NL continues the journey through Mark with the healing of two women in Capernaum in Mark 5.
This week we continue to see that Jesus has the power to heal people and restore them to wholeness and community. This is the work of the Gospel.

In all of the readings there seems to be a sense of urgency. Life is short and fleeting. Don’t be distracted by things that don’t last. Repent, Believe, and let the Good News set you free.
