I painted this live during our Thanksgiving Eve service last night at @easterlutheran. We hooked the iPad up to the projectors. It was really fun to use the spiral symmetry tool to create colorful abstract fields during some of the opening songs. It was painted in @procreate Happy Thanksgiving!

This series of images tries to address the question of violence in the Biblical story. Why is there so much violence in the name of God?
The Narrative Lectionary brings us to 1 Samuel 16:1-13 this week. The first fifteen chapters of 1 Samuel tell the story of Samuel, the last judge of Israel, and Saul, the first King of Israel. Saul didn’t work out well and God sent Samuel to find a true heart that was ready to be a godly king.
