Bishop Ann Svennungsen will be doing my installation service at Grace Lutheran Church on November 11 at the 9:00am service. This is a privilege to have the bishop do the installation personally.
I began this journey of candidacy in November of 2010. Two years later, after candidacy committees, psychological evaluations, papers, a Theological Review Panel, more papers, and a final approval committee, I am officially a rostered ELCA pastor. Grace Lutheran Church has officially called me, and I will be installed on November 11.
I’d love to have you there if you can make it. Thanks for all the prayers.
Just for the record, this has nothing to do with my PhD program. I still have three years left of that. 🙂
