We had a huge snow storm yesterday that cancelled all my appointments. So, I decided to take advantage of the free calendar space to make this video. It is a reading of John 1:1-18. The artwork comes from A Cartoonist’s Guide to John. The music is from the free YouTube audio library (so thankful for that resource).
I am very excited to begin the journey of preaching and teaching through John in the new year. This is a fun way to get things started.
The Gospel of John begins with a masterfully crafted prologue that introduces Jesus as the Word of God through which God created all things and in which God became flesh and tabernacled among us. This prologue highlights the key words and themes that John will work throughout the Gospel account.
Enjoy!

Question. How did you know that God wanted you to give him glory through being an Artist? Like how did he reveal it to you? Sometimes it’s hard for me to discern what he wants me to do or not. What do you think?
How did you come to realize that the Lord wanted to use you to glorify him through your Art? Sometimes I want to Glorify God with my art. But I’m not sure if he wants me to or not. It’s hard for me to discern sometimes.
Great question. When we use the gifts Good gives us, and acknowledge that they are gifts from God, then we are glorifying God. It’s really that simple. It doesn’t have to be religious art.
