If you are looking for something to do to pass the time while you and your family are forced to stay at home, then I invite you to hang out with me on Facebook for live art sessions.

Why am I doing this?
Art has always been my method of self-therapy and social connection. I moved around a lot as a child and I am naturally introverted. Large un-structured social gatherings are really intimidating to me, especially when I was the “new kid” at school, yet again.
So, whenever I entered scary waters, I would take out a piece of paper and start drawing. People inevitably gathered around and started asking me questions. That is how I made my best friend my sophomore year of high school.
Now, when the world seems turned upside down and I am not able to be physically present with the staff I supervise or the students I teach, I turn to my trusted comfort…art.
Feel free to share this post with your friends and family. If you can’t join me live, the videos will be there, on my Facebook Feed, to view any time.
Let me know if there are any specific types of art sessions you would like to see.
May you find peace in these unsettling times.
