The Narrative Lectionary brings us to an amazing scene this week. Things are about to get really bad for Jesus and his disciples in Matthew 16:13-17:27. They need a glimpse of hope before the storm arrives. Jesus leads Peter, James and John to the top of a mountain where he is transfigured before their eyes. They don’t know what to do.
