Visual Resources for the Lectionaries
This post offers visual resources for the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary for August 20, 2023. The RCL continues the Joseph story in Genesis 45. The Gospel is Matthew 15:21-28 where Jesus speaks with the Syro-Phoenician woman. The NL begins a three week series on Sabbath. It pairs this with Matthew 11:28-30 for the Gospel reading.

Narrative Lectionary
The NL ends the summer with a series on Sabbath. The text this week is Deuteronomy 5:12–15.
