Acts 2:1-21 tells the story of how the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus’ disciples on the Jewish Festival of Pentecost. The disciples were able to speak in languages they had not studied and the crowd was amazed to hear them speaking their own language. Peter addresses the crowd and connects this event to the prophet Joel’s message.
