My spiritual director shared this Frederick Buechner quote with me a couple years ago as I was working through some discernment. As usual, I doodled it into a visual format to help me grasp it. I share it now in memory of this great writer and thinker.
Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace. ― Frederick Buechner, Now and Then: A Memoir of Vocation
Excellent thought from a great thinker! Clearly it was used in your life as a tool of the ‘Cloud’ you follow! Thanks for sharing.
