A Cartoonist’s Guide to Luke is a graphic novel style presentation of the Gospel of Luke. It will have 24 full-color pages that illustrate every passage in Luke. Each page also has a digital counterpart complete with downloadable PowerPoint presentations, image packs and printable PDF handouts.

The project is almost finished. I started working on it last fall as we were preparing to preach through Luke, following the Narrative Lectionary.  The passages from the Narrative Lectionary only touched on 16 out of the 24 pages, which left me with 8 unfinished pages at the beginning of the summer.

My summer goal has been to complete these 8 pages and release the print version by the end of August.

Yesterday, I completed the 5th of those 8 pages. I hope to crank out the remaining three over the next two weeks. (CLICK HERE to see the most recent page)

A Cartoonist’s Guide to the Bible has a pay-what-you-can approach to distributing content. My goal is to make most of the downloads FREE! I never want money to be a barrier to people growing in God’s love through the study of the Bible.

I am only able to offer these for free because of the generosity of those who can afford to pay for the work.

There are three ways you can financially support A Cartoonist’s Guide to the Bible:

  1. Pay when you download. You are able to enter any amount when you purchase the download.
  2. Make a one-time donation HERE. It’s basically a tip jar. There is also a link in the footer.
  3. Join the CB Crew. You can subscribe to a private group for $4.99/month where you will get exclusive content, behind the scenes access, and a chance to collaborate with me in the future plans of A Cartoonist’s Guide to the Bible. I’d love for you to join. CLICK HERE to join.
