What were the people of Jerusalem expecting the day Jesus rode into town? Did they want a King who would lead them into battle to finally defeat the Romans? Probably. That’s not what they got. Instead, they got a man riding on the back of a young donkey who was prepared to give up his life for the sake of the world.
