Get a behind the scenes look at our first filming session of the Narrative Lectionary Painting Project. We are inside Paul Oman’s workshop filming the very first video.
Who is Paul Oman?
From his website…
Paul Oman was born in the United States in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, where he currently resides with his wife and children. He had a strong interest in art early on in his life, inspired by the landscapes and nature surrounding him on the farm where he spent his childhood years.
At age 10, he began receiving personal instruction in acrylic, oil, and watercolor painting. During this same year, Paul was honored as the Wisconsin elementary youth selected to present an original watercolor to the governor at the State Capitol for Youth Art Month, a significant milestone in his life.
Paul studied the art of drawing while in college and, at 23, he was captivated by the watercolor medium upon watching watercolorist Russell Norberg. His study and passion for art has continued ever since. Paul shares his joy of painting with people of all ages through presentations and teaching.
I had the privilege to meet Paul last year and we have been geeking out about how scripture and art come together ever since.
I hope you will prayerfully consider supporting the Narrative Lectionary Painting project. The Kickstarter will launch at the beginning of December. Keep on the lookout for it.
