I’ve been playing around with an idea lately. I have always given my content away freely from this site. There are tons of Bible Study material here. The problem is that I have no idea who is using it, why they’re using it, or if it is actually being used at all. The body of Christ is global across time and space. It has always been a virtual body (meaning we’re connected, even if we aren’t physically in the same space.) Now, with the internet, that virtual reality of the body of Christ is able to be more conscious and intentional for those with digital access. In light of this, I thought it would be a fun experiment to make my blog a “Membership” Blog. That means you can register and have an identity and communicate with others on the site. (like a mini social media space). I have placed one tiny guard around the FREE PDF downloads which requires a person to register as a member of the site in order to download the PDFs (still for free, of course).

I guess this is a way for me to experiment with a teaching ministry that extends beyond the physical boundaries of Grace Lutheran Church and allows me to serve and learn from people all over the place. Hey, why not, right?

If you are interested in experimenting with me in this, simply register in the sidebar to the right. I’d love to share this experience of learning and growing together.

Here’s my life verse, and the spirit behind all this:

And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, having produced the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:9-11)
