Happy New Year!

This week the preacher has choices. Do you focus on the New Year, the Second Sunday of Christmas, Epiphany (which is on Monday), or all of the above?

While we will be in Luke this year, the RCL starts with John this week…in the beginning. That’s a good place to begin the New Year! Blessings on your preaching and teaching this week.

I am looking forward to walking through the Gospel of Luke with you this year. Both the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary will focus on Luke between now and Easter. Stay tuned for my new set of videos that will visually guide you through this amazing story of Jesus’ life and the unique portrait of him that Luke paints.
