The Disciples Argue about Who is the Greatest

Jesus tells his disciples, once again, that he is going to die in Jerusalem. They aren’t listening. All they care about is who will be the greatest in Jesus’ kingdom. Jesus tells them that greatness looks like being a servant. It is the children who will lead us, not the powerful. What does this mean for us today?

Joseph

We get a similar story in the life of Joseph. It was not until he was thought dead, sold into slavery, and humbly served his oppressor that God was able to work salvation for his people through him.
