Visual Resources for the Lectionaries
This post offers visual resources for the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary for September 10, 2023. The RCL recounts the story of the Passover in Exodus 12:1-14. The Gospel is Matthew 18:15-20 where Jesus emphasizes the power of forgiveness for the Kin-dom of God. The NL begins a new season with the second creation story in Genesis 2:4-25 and the Garden of Eden.

Narrative Lectionary
The NL begins a new season this week with Genesis 2:4-25.
The NL has two options for the Gospel Reading this week. Either Mark 1:16-20, the calling of the first disciples. OR, Mark 10:6-8, Jesus’ commentary on male and female.
