The Power of Vulnerability

I had coffee with my friend and confidant yesterday, and he gave me some feedback on my first post regarding living with disagreement. To boil down his response, he said, “Are you nuts?” He lovingly questioned my motive for posting and wondered if I had really thought through the ramifications for doing so. Honestly, I hadn’t. I’m just experimenting with being an open, vulnerable, public leader/teacher/pastor/artist. I really don’t know what I’m doing.

He recommended that I watch this TED talk from Brene Brown. It is wonderful! Please watch.

Steve – thank you for being courageous and brave. Bless you for teaching not only with words and art but by living it out. you are a cartographer and i thank God for the compass of your voice and the map/graph you keep drawing out for others to study for direction. We might not all agree on the way we think we should go in the journey but THE WAY, Jesus Christ will direct our hearts and minds through the Holy Spirit and one day we shall all be unified completely in Him. May God continue to bless and keep you. Grace & Peace. JLK
