Today is the day. In three and a half hours I will be sitting down at a workstation in the computer lab at Luther Seminary with a 750 word essay written in Theological German in front of me. The assignment: translate it in two hours. This will be my third attempt to pass this exam. If I don’t pass it, then I will not be allowed to submit my comprehensive exam proposals and continue on in my program.
