The journey began on Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2024
I created a piece of art live during the Chapel service at Luther Seminary. You can watch the service HERE. Read the sermon and find visuals HERE.
Each Monday during the Lenten Season I will host a Livestream that is simulcast to Facebook and YouTube.
During the Livestream event I will create a piece of art that is a contemplative reflection on the theme for that week of our Lenten Journey. The live chat will be hosted by Rev. Jennifer Grangaard, the Campus Pastor at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN.
The artwork that I create on Monday evening will then be incorporated into the chapel service on Wednesday of that week. We will follow this pattern for each week of Lent. Links to the Livestream will be updated as the journey progresses.
Each session will draw from the readings in the Revised Common Lectionary for the upcoming Sunday (see my Cartoonist’s Guide to the Lectionary HERE).
