Happy August. My prayer for you this month is that you will find ways to stop, take in a deep breath, and remember how deeply loved you are by God. May the depths of God's love bubble up in you and overflow to everyone you meet throughout your daily routines.

I am working on four big projects right now (along with my weekly lectionary work). All of them are due by the end of October. Would you be willing to pray for me as I work on them. Here they are:

- Illustrating the Book of Acts as a graphic novel. I'm doing this for two reasons. First, it is the next book in the Cartoonist's Guide to the Bible series. Second, I am creating a course on Acts for Faith+Lead Academy that will be released next year. You can track the progress by viewing the Acts Home Page and my weekly Live stream art sessions HERE.
- Creating a Faith+Lead Academy course on Loving God with our Mind. This is the second course in the Discipleship pathway and dives deeper into the content presented in the Overflow Course (btw: you can get 25% off this course by using the code Overflow25# at checkout).
- Preparing to teach a winter course at Luther Seminary called Cultivating Spirituality, Vocation, and Mission in Adults. This course asks how we can hear/discern God's calling for our own lives and help others do the same.
- Creating an Animated Music Video. A very talented composer name Kyle Pederson has commissioned me to create an animated video for his song A New Jerusalem Arise. It is a very fun project. I can't wait to share it when it is finished.
