Hi Subscriber,
We've entered into Ordinary Time. That is what the liturgical calendar calls the weeks between Pentecost and Christ the King Sunday. It is the time of planting, waiting, harvesting. It is the time of enjoying the rhythms of everyday life. It is common to study spiritual practices and the rhythms of simplicity. My prayer for you this month is that you can set aside time to breathe deeply and connect with the deep source of God's love for you that animates every aspect of this amazing universe.

Here are some of my big goals for the summer and I invite you to join me.

- I will be illustrating the Book of Acts as a graphic novel. CLICK HERE to view A Cartoonist's Guide to Acts where I will be posting the pages as I draw them.
- I am exploring how to deepen and expand my work with A Cartoonist's Guide to the Bible and my work in Spiritual Formation and Visual Theology. One way that you can participate in this is to consider joining the Cartoonist Bible Network where you can interact with me and others around visual learning in scripture and theology. CLICK HERE for a one-week free trial. I hold a weekly Visual Text Study on Zoom that explores the texts for that week from both the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary. The videos of the sessions are posted on the Network for anyone who can't attend live.
