October 2022
|
Hi Subscriber,
We have crossed the autumnal equinox and, here in the Upper Midwest of the USA, the trees are turning color, the air is getting crisper, and the daylight is getting shorter. I love the fall.
|
This month I want to highlight a project that I'm really excited about. It's called Portraits of Jesus. I've spent the past four years illustrating the Gospels as graphic novels. They are all finished and yours for the browsing. Read more below.

Taking this journey together,

Explore the stories of Jesus as a graphic novel. Each Gospel--Matthew, Mark, Luke and John--is fully illustrated and available to read online, in print, and downloadable as PowerPoint and Image presentations.

A Visual Commentary on Luke 16 | The Parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man

A visual meditation on Luke 16:13-31. Jesus tells a parable of a rich man and a poor man named Lazarus. He uses this parable as an indictment against the greed and arrogance of the religious leaders.

We're All in This Together

We are all interconnected, thus we need each other. That is one of the things we learn through studying the doctrine of the Trinity.

Getting to Animate
|
|
My new job includes animation. Can you believe it?!? I'm creating online courses for Faith+Lead Academy and much of my content will be animated. So, I've been doing quick gestural animation in the Callipeg app on my iPad to get back in the groove. You can see them posted on my Instagram. Here's an example. This sketch took about 45 minutes to create in Callipeg (if the little guy below isn't moving on your screen, click here to view it). Enjoy!
