March 2022

Hi Subscriber,
The season of Lent is upon us. For those of us in the Upper-Midwest USA, this is a season of reawakening from a long, cold winter. Let's be honest. It feels like we have been in Lent for two solid years, doesn't it?
My prayer for you is that this Lenten season will be one that brings true clarity and hope. In the midst of geopolitical distress, war, racial/social conflict, climate change, and the chronic stress of the pandemic, we still trust that God is active and inviting us, moment-by-moment into the kin-dom of God, revealed to us most fully through Jesus Christ (read this post for more).

Here are some resources that I hope will help you this Lent.

How do we talk about Transfiguration this year? If you follow the Narrative Lectionary, the story isn't told in John. These resources might help present the story in a fresh way.
