February 2025
This month is all about following the life of Jesus through the Gospel of Luke. In the liturgical church calendar it is the season of Epiphany. It is the time when we observe how Jesus lived and taught during his ministry in the northern region of Galilee. I'm having a ton of fun exploring these stories in two ways:
First, I curate a visual lectionary every week that pulls together all the visual resources I have created over the years for each text in both the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary. Visit this page to see the weekly resources.
Second, I'm hosting a course on the Gospel of Luke on the Art Pastor's Network. This is a take-at-your-own-pace course and I am adding new content each week. You can check that out here. If you aren't a member of the network yet, you can poke around with a 7-day free trial.

Many of the people with whom I work and serve are terrified right now because their lives, and their children, are in jeopardy. I am studying and teaching through the Gospel …

Drawing TRUST | My Word for the Year

I write this post on the morning of January 20, 2025. There is a strange convergence of world events today: It is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We recognize this man for the work he did to ensure civil rights for all people in our country. There is a cease-fire in Gaza that will allow Israel and Hamas to exchange …
