So, I’ve gone back and forth on one issue with my iPad. I originally thought that I could take notes in class with it like I do in my “real” notebooks. Then I tried Penultimate and it just wasn’t fine enough to do the kind of drawing/charting I need. I tried Bamboo Paper, but it just wasn’t quite good enough. I disappointedly resolved to return to my native pen and paper and simply photo-add them to Evernote.

Then something wonderful happened. I turned on the “genius feature in the App Store and it suggested I try an app called Noteshelf. Oh, baby. This is it. Check out what I did in class today. This is the same level of resolution I get in real space, but I have color, highlighting, cut/paste, photo import, and text. Also, i can group multiple notebooks into stacks on my note shelf. Oh sweet mystery of life at last I’ve found you!!! (if that’s not tech geek, I don’t know what is 🙂 )

Here’s the page for your inspection.
