Last Thursday I sat before a panel of the Candidacy Committee for the ELCA. After sifting through my Psych Evaluation, reading my story, and talking with me for a couple hours, they officially accepted me into candidacy for ordination. The next step is to sit before the Theological Review Panel to determine my LDQ – Lutheran Deficiency Quotient (my term 🙂 )
I have no idea how many courses they will require me to take at the Sem. I’m sure I will have to take the Confessions and some form of Lutheran history at the very least. It’s all good. Just following the cloud, right?
